Therapy for Women Healing from Narcissistic Abuse

For Women Who Choose Themselves

Providing online therapy for people in Pennsylvania and 30+ participating Psypact states.

You’ve been through so much, and you’re ready to focus on your own healing. But getting started—or even knowing where to start—has been difficult.

Hi, I’m Dr. Lauren Bartholomew. As a therapist for women who are learning how to heal from narcissistic abuse and toxic past relationships, I am passionate about creating a space where you can feel heard, validated, and supported in your process.

When we work together, I’ll provide an affirming, warm, and compassionate space for you to explore difficult emotions and memories, learn new tools that support you and your boundaries, and learn how to cope with the challenges of your day to day life.

You May Benefit from Therapy for Women If…

You’ve recently left a difficult, traumatic, or toxic relationship

Now that the relationship has ended, you’re looking for ways to strengthen your boundaries, heal from past hurts, and move forward with more confidence in yourself.  In therapy, you’re looking for a soft spot to land to process your emotions and understand the impact of this past relationship on your life.

You need a space where you are validated and supported

Making the decision to leave was hard enough. You’re looking for a therapist who will provide a warm and non-judgmental space, where you can explore the roots of your pain, learn more about how the culture around us influences the way you show up in relationships, and who will help you learn the tools and skills needed to strengthen your boundaries in the future.

You want a space where you’re encouraged to grow

Whatever may be holding you back—whether that is anxiety, depression, fear, or sadness for the past—you are looking for a space where you’re given the opportunity and encouragement to grow.

My Approach to Therapy for Women Recovering from Narcissistic Abuse

In my work with my clients, I have a non-judgmental, warm and accepting approach. Women who seek therapy with me are welcomed into a space where they will find understanding, validation, and gentle guidance.

In therapy, I work from psychodynamic, humanistic, and internal family systems approaches to help you cope with the stresses and challenges of healing from your past relationship. Using these approaches, we will help you explore and understand your past experiences, discuss tools that help you strengthen your boundaries, and give you the space you need to choose your authentic path in life.
