Dr. Bartholomew's Approach
Dr. Bartholomew uses an integrative approach in her work with patients. This means she uses tools from several different theories of psychology to help you improve yourself. Specifically, she draws from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and humanistic approaches to help you achieve your goals. Her approach is collaborative, gentle, and direct. Dr. Bartholomew treats patients ages 14 and up with concerns such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, chronic health issues, and stages of life concerns. She is also interested in the treatment of Highly Sensitive People.
About Me
Dr. Lauren (she/her) grew up in Pennsylvania and earned her doctorate at The American School of Professional Psychology in Arlington, Virginia. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses, photography, crafting, hiking, yoga, working out, playing video games, and reading.
Lilly
Lilly is a certified therapy dog. She's hypoallergenic, weighs about 17 pounds, and loves to greet patients in the waiting room. Lilly is a cavanese; half King Charles cavalier spaniel, half havanese. During telehealth, she can often be heard snoring from her bed or occasionally barking at neighborhood squirrels.
